



This is the inside of the card. The bug squashed against the windshield is pretty small and I wanted it to be a little more prominent so I stamped the image and the bug image and then enlarged it a little on my copier. You can't really tell in the pictures but I used orange and red Stickles on the brake lights and shimmery paint on the bug's wings. Both images were colored with markers.
This same friend asked me to make a card she could send to her boyfriend's grandmother who is having a tough time. She had found a poem about a cardinal and wanted a card to go with it. Here's the simple card I came up with:
The ribbon looks a little screwed up but it actually sits a little better IRL.
On the inside of the card I just printed the poem onto vellum, folded it in half and taped it to the back inside of the card.
