Little Flower Girl

Monday, September 3, 2012

Happy Labor Day, everyone! I'm relaxing and watching some golf on TV. This is a card I made a little while ago and it's my first attempt at stamping on fabric. I like working on fabric I've decided! I've since found a little bit better fabric to stamp on but still like how this one turned out.

The only thing I don't like about this one is how crooked I cut the fabric! I'm going to experiment with my Spellbinders and see if I can get them to cut through the fabric. The pink on her cheeks is showing up a little bright in the picture but it looks better in real life.

The DP is from Boho Chic by First Edition. I love that paper pad! I colored the image with Copics and the ribbon is a freebie from Ellen Hutson that I got with my last order.

Hope you're having a good holiday if you're in the US!

More Butterflies

Sunday, September 2, 2012

Yep, more butterflies! I'm not really sure why I suddenly decided to like them so much but I'm just going with it. The hard thing, amazingly enough, is finding pretty paper with butterflies on it. I would have thought there would be all kinds of it, but that's just not the case.

The butterflies are from a Hero Arts stamp set. I colored them with Copics and cut them out. The butterfly trail and sentiment are from a Paper Trey Ink stamp set. I used craft cardstock for the base. I'm kind of enamored with craft paper, too, lately.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

Beautiful Butterflies

Saturday, September 1, 2012

Happy day everyone! I'm back with an easy-peasy card today. I think it took me about 15 minutes to make it, which is a record for me. Usually I'm pretty pokey, especially if I have to color the image. Without further ado, here's the butterfly card:

I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch, some cream card stock, purple card stock and some designer paper. The sentiment says, "You give me happy butterflies." Isn't that a great sentiment?! I had to buy a retired stamp set to get that sentiment. But I just had to have it. I've been on a butterfly kick lately.

That's all from me today. Hope you have a great day!

Rainbows and Clouds

Friday, August 31, 2012

As promised, I'm back with a card. I actually have been making cards for a craft sale we'll be having soon and for my sister-in-law to send to my nephew who just started his first year of college. All of them are fairly simple cards because I'm just getting back into the swing of creating again.

This card is pretty simple but I like how it turned out. Just some cloud designer paper (sorry, don't know who manufactured it), a sentiment from Hero Arts and some rainbow-colored buttons. Job done!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope there are still people out there after my long hiatus!

Long Time, No See!

Friday, August 17, 2012

Wow, it's been a long time since I posted. I had surgery and then I had complications after the surgery. Then my mojo took a long vacation! But I'm getting back into making cards and will be posting them soon.

Skateboarder Tween

Friday, March 4, 2011

This week the challenge over at the Digi's With Attitude! challenge blog is anything goes. The DT got to choose one of their favorite images to use in any way we wanted. This skateboarding tween is one of my favorite images because she looks like she's really moving and having a good time.

I colored her with Copics and used Stampin' Up! DP and cardstock. The green bling is from Papermania and I used gloss on her eyes and Stickles on her skateboard. That's it, pretty simple.

Come join in the challenge HERE. If you'd like to own this image, or any other Digi's With Attitude! images, check out the store HERE.

Wish You Were Here

Friday, February 25, 2011

It's challenge time on the Digi's With Attitude! blog again. This week we want to see projects that reflect where you would like to be right now. Wouldn't it be great to be on the beach soaking up the sun? We're supposed to get a few snow storms in the next couple days so I'm dreaming of warm weather and sun.

This week the challenge is sponsored by Bearly Mine Designs so you'll definitely want to enter. She has some awesome digital paper!

I colored the image with Copics and used Ultra Fine Flower Soft in sand for the sand on the beach. I made the water with Copics and the white foam is Liquid Applique. The paper is digital paper from Designer Digitals.

You can get the image I used, as well as many other great ones, in the Digi's With Attitude! store HERE. You can join in on the challenge HERE.

Just a Little House Cleaning

Friday, February 18, 2011

It's Friday and that means it's time for another challenge on the Digi's With Attitude! challenge blog. This week it's all about cleaning! This cute new Tween image is available in the store HERE.

This week we're being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish! They have some delicious digital papers that you'll definitely want to check out. The winner of the challenge will get to pick two paper packs from Robyn's Fetish.

I colored the image with Copics and cut it out. I used Robyn's Fetish digital paper for the wall and floor and added a baseboard that I made from white paper that I scored. After I cut out the image I mounted it on the background using dimensionals. The Home Sweet Home picture I created on my computer then cut out and also mounted on dimensionals.

Be sure to join our challenge this week HERE and check out all the adorable new Tween images in the store HERE.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Digi Doodles Shop - Anything goes

Mygrafico - Anything goes

I made a bunch of cards using different Stella images from Bugaboo Stamps. I just love this sassy lady! She has a knack for saying so many of the things that I'm thinking.

All the images were colored with Copics and all the DP is Stampin' Up! paper. If you would like more details about a specific card please contact me.

Puffy Marshmallows

Friday, February 11, 2011

This week we're getting puffy over at the Digi's With Attitude! challenge blog! The challenge is to make something puffy on your project. You can't really tell from the picture but I made the marshmallow puffy by using Liquid Applique on it. I love that stuff for creating dimension on a project.

I used the new Digi's With Attitude! image named Camping Tween. I just think she's the cutest little camper! I colored the image with Copics and, like I said, used Liquid Applique on the marshmallow. The DP is from Memory Box from a pack named Minuet. The butterflies were made using a Martha Stewart punch.

Be sure to join in the challenge this week HERE. We're being sponsored this week by Stampin Dragon Designs and the winner gets a $10 coupon to the store! And check out this image and the other new images in the Digi's With Attitude! store HERE.
