Skateboarder Tween

Friday, March 4, 2011

This week the challenge over at the Digi's With Attitude! challenge blog is anything goes. The DT got to choose one of their favorite images to use in any way we wanted. This skateboarding tween is one of my favorite images because she looks like she's really moving and having a good time.

I colored her with Copics and used Stampin' Up! DP and cardstock. The green bling is from Papermania and I used gloss on her eyes and Stickles on her skateboard. That's it, pretty simple.

Come join in the challenge HERE. If you'd like to own this image, or any other Digi's With Attitude! images, check out the store HERE.

Wish You Were Here

Friday, February 25, 2011

It's challenge time on the Digi's With Attitude! blog again. This week we want to see projects that reflect where you would like to be right now. Wouldn't it be great to be on the beach soaking up the sun? We're supposed to get a few snow storms in the next couple days so I'm dreaming of warm weather and sun.

This week the challenge is sponsored by Bearly Mine Designs so you'll definitely want to enter. She has some awesome digital paper!

I colored the image with Copics and used Ultra Fine Flower Soft in sand for the sand on the beach. I made the water with Copics and the white foam is Liquid Applique. The paper is digital paper from Designer Digitals.

You can get the image I used, as well as many other great ones, in the Digi's With Attitude! store HERE. You can join in on the challenge HERE.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Just a Little House Cleaning

Friday, February 18, 2011

It's Friday and that means it's time for another challenge on the Digi's With Attitude! challenge blog. This week it's all about cleaning! This cute new Tween image is available in the store HERE.

This week we're being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish! They have some delicious digital papers that you'll definitely want to check out. The winner of the challenge will get to pick two paper packs from Robyn's Fetish.

I colored the image with Copics and cut it out. I used Robyn's Fetish digital paper for the wall and floor and added a baseboard that I made from white paper that I scored. After I cut out the image I mounted it on the background using dimensionals. The Home Sweet Home picture I created on my computer then cut out and also mounted on dimensionals.

Be sure to join our challenge this week HERE and check out all the adorable new Tween images in the store HERE.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

I made a bunch of cards using different Stella images from Bugaboo Stamps. I just love this sassy lady! She has a knack for saying so many of the things that I'm thinking.

All the images were colored with Copics and all the DP is Stampin' Up! paper. If you would like more details about a specific card please contact me.

Puffy Marshmallows

Friday, February 11, 2011

This week we're getting puffy over at the Digi's With Attitude! challenge blog! The challenge is to make something puffy on your project. You can't really tell from the picture but I made the marshmallow puffy by using Liquid Applique on it. I love that stuff for creating dimension on a project.

I used the new Digi's With Attitude! image named Camping Tween. I just think she's the cutest little camper! I colored the image with Copics and, like I said, used Liquid Applique on the marshmallow. The DP is from Memory Box from a pack named Minuet. The butterflies were made using a Martha Stewart punch.

Be sure to join in the challenge this week HERE. We're being sponsored this week by Stampin Dragon Designs and the winner gets a $10 coupon to the store! And check out this image and the other new images in the Digi's With Attitude! store HERE.

Motorcycles and Chicks

Sunday, February 6, 2011

I made some more Harley and Harley babe cards. The images that are colored are all from Kenny K's and were colored with Copics. I thought maybe the women would like to send their significant others some sexy Valentine's Day cards. What man wouldn't love to get one of those images on a card?!

Again, I won't go into all the details but feel free to contact me if you want more specific information.

Goth Tween

Friday, January 28, 2011

There are more new Tweens being released over at Digi's With Attitude! and this is Goth Tween. I was never in to goth but I really like this image and it was fun to color. I wanted her skin to be really pale so I used my lightest skin tone and didn't do much shading on her face. Of course there's a lot of black but I wanted a touch of another color and I love the turquoise/black combination.

I colored the image with Copics and the DP is digi paper from DesignerDigitals. The ribbon is from my stash and originally had white stitches but I colored it with a Copic to match the DP.

The challenge this week is to use a digital image of a person. Easy peasy, right?! You can join in the challenge HERE and purchase the images HERE. Be sure to join us for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Digi's With Attitude! store.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Rain, Rain Go Away

Friday, January 21, 2011

This week the challenge over at the Digi's With Attitude! challenge blog is to create raindrops. Isn't this image of the poor little cat caught in the rain precious?! You can purchase the image HERE. While you're there, check out the new Tweens images. They've got attitude all their own!

The DP and raindrop outline were all purchased at DesignerDigitals. I added text inside the raindrop on my computer. The image was colored with Copics. I popped up the front part of the umbrella for some dimension.

You can really let your imagination go on this one. One of the DT members created a raindrop shaped card, another member made several raindrops and had them raining down on the cat, etc. Let your imagination go and come join us HERE.

Shades of Purple

Thursday, January 20, 2011

The challenge this week at StampInsanity is to pick your favorite color and create a project using only shades of that color (and white is allowed, too). One of my favorite colors is purple so I decided to create my card in shades of purple.

Amazingly there is absolutely no coloring on this card! My poor, neglected Copics. The sentiment is from StampInsanity and you can purchase it HERE. The DP is Papermania and the cardstock is Stampin' Up! I received both the ribbon and the pin from contests I won.

This is your chance to really bask in your favorite color so be sure to join us this week. You can find the challenge HERE. Please also check out the rest of the Ward 2 DT through the links on my sidebar.

Harley Woman

Tuesday, January 18, 2011

I've gotten a number of commissions lately for Harley Davidson themed cards and, let me tell you, it's not very easy to find Harley related items for crafting! This image is from Kenny K and looks like a biker chick to me. The request was for a biker babe with red hair.

I created the DP using a Harley logo I got online because there is absolutely no Harley paper out there anymore. I colored the image with Copics of course and covered her boots and glasses in Glass Effects Gel from Viva Decor to make them look shiny.

You'll be seeing many more Harley projects from me!

Rock On!

Friday, January 14, 2011

Welcome to another challenge on the Digi's With Attitude! challenge blog! This time we want to see some green and black on your cards. I must admit I don't usually use a whole lot of green on my cards so this was a fun challenge for me. And what's not to love when you can color hair and lipstick green!

I colored my image with Copics and used Papertrey Ink DP in black polka dot. The green cardstock is from my stash. I didn't have any green ribbon that was the right shade so I colored white ribbon with a Copic - it's a fun and easy way to get matching ribbon.

If you want this adorable digi stop by the shop HERE. This is one of the new 'Tweens with Attitude that are available now. Be sure to stop by the challenge blog and enter this week's challenge HERE.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Hardcore Hardware

Thursday, January 6, 2011

The challenge over on the StampInsanity challenge blog is Hardcore Hardware. I'll admit, this is stepping outside my comfort zone but I had a good time with it. I didn't add a lot of hardware but I have some staples and a paperclip so that counts!

I colored the image with Copics and distressed the heck out of DP from my stash. I wanted this to be a card that could be given to a man so I didn't add a lot of embellishments. Plus I didn't think ribbon or flowers really went with the staples!

It's a really fun challenge this week so make sure you stop over to the challenge blog HERE and play along. If you want to purchase this stamp (Zeke) you can go HERE. Be sure to check out the other members of Ward B for more inspiration! Their links can be found on my sidebar.

I'm entering this card in Phindy's Challenge which calls for distressing.
