Wishing You Well

Thursday, April 23, 2009

This is my card for the SCS sketch challenge. I used a Flower Soft stamp that, at first, I was a little scared to use. The flowers aren't real well defined so I was afraid that I wouldn't put the FS in the right spots. But I think it turned out well and actually having less definition for the flowers worked out better. It was fun and easy to do. I wish I had made the card a little shorter because it ended up looking a little plain, but everything is stuck down so there's no going back now!
In the closeup you can get a better view of the Flower Soft - LOVE that stuff! I got the stamp and the Flower Soft from one of the best stores out there: Pez-A-Doodle Designs. PDD now has a Flower Soft sampler kit if you're looking to get a variety of products and want them at a great price! You can find the sampler kit here.

You worked the Flower Soft for sure - I tried it...and, um, well, I ended up selling it all because I hated working with it. This image is sooo pretty and your flower effect just takes it up another level - nice!

Beautiful card, Julia! That's one of my favorite mixes of Flower Soft and you colored it so beautifully. Oh, how it makes me wish for late spring!

Wow!!! You did a great job using the Flower Soft.. I have that stamp too and I love it, but I've never used it with FS. I might just have to try it ;)

wow SUPER job - totally ROCKED the flower soft! i felt exactly the same way (i had the stamp for nearly a year!) but you are right - the less definition is actually better - now to pull out the wheelbarrow one and get to work....so many toys....so little time.....sigh!!!
